The fee table is an image on RedotPay's page, which is why text extractions of it come back empty. We opened the page and read the image on 2026-10-27. The ATM, card-currency and rules articles below were read as text on the same day. Anything marked as our reading or our arithmetic is ours, not RedotPay's. Fees and limits change, so check the figures in the app before you pay.
What fees does the RedotPay card charge?
RedotPay's Card Limitations & Fees article (24 July 2026) lists these fees. The limits table at its bottom carries the label "Effective from December 1, 2025".
| Fee | What RedotPay lists | Note in the table |
|---|---|---|
| Virtual card application | 10.00 USD | |
| Physical card application | 100.00 USD | |
| Mailing a physical card: standard mail | Waived | Delivery time may vary by destination |
| Mailing a physical card: DHL Express | Varies by country | Fast delivery; the exact shipping fee is calculated at checkout from your address |
| Replacing a virtual card | 5.00 USD for the first update, 10.00 USD for each one after | |
| Transaction in the card's currency | Waived | Listed as "default currency transaction" |
| Transaction in another currency | 1.20% | Listed as "non-default currency transaction" |
| Crypto conversion | 1.00% | Listed as "transaction fee"; the table says it refers to the cryptocurrency conversion fee |
| ATM withdrawal, HKD card | 2.00% | |
| ATM withdrawal, USD card | 2% up to 10,000 USD of withdrawals a month, 3% on the amount above | |
| Small transaction (1.00 USD or less) | First 5 per card each month waived, then 0.20 USD each | Listed as "small auth transaction fee" |
| Declined transaction | First 3 per card each month waived, then 0.50 USD each | Reasons include insufficient balance, frozen cards, lost cards and incorrect card details, "but are not limited to" these |
| Account maintenance | Waived | Including monthly and annual fees |
| Deposit fee | Free |
The two application fees are the ones our promo codes act on: RDVIR and RDPHY take 20% off the virtual and physical card application fee when the card-order screen accepts them. They do not change any other line of this table.
How much does a RedotPay ATM withdrawal cost?
RedotPay's ATM article (27 July 2026) says you can withdraw cash with your physical card at any ATM that supports major card networks, and lists the fees that may apply: 2% for a HKD card; for a USD card 2% up to 10,000 USD a month and 3% on the amount above that; no fee for a transaction in your card's currency; 1.2% for another currency; and a 1% crypto conversion.
Our arithmetic, not RedotPay's: if all three charges apply to a 500 USD withdrawal from a USD card in another country's currency, that is 10 USD (2%) plus 6 USD (1.2%) plus 5 USD (1%), or 21 USD in total (4.2%). The article says "fees that may apply", so whether a given withdrawal pays all three is something to check on the transaction in the app. Whatever the ATM operator charges is outside this list, and neither article mentions operator surcharges.
What are the RedotPay ATM withdrawal limits and spending limits?
The same fee table gives these limits, with one column for each card program it calls "HKB BIN" and "USD BIN" (our reading: a BIN is the first digits of a card number, and these are the HKD and USD card programs):
| Limit | Column "HKB BIN" | Column "USD BIN" |
|---|---|---|
| Balance limit | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Per transaction | 100,000 USD | 100,000 USD |
| Daily limit | 1,000,000 USD | 1,000,000 USD |
| ATM withdrawals | 3 a day, 30 a month | 3 a day, 30 a month |
| ATM daily limit | 23,000 HKD | 3,750 USD |
| ATM monthly limit | 75,000 HKD | 50,000 USD |
Below the table RedotPay adds a note: for USD cards, in some countries and regions the daily limit is 3,000 USD and the monthly limit 10,000 USD, and the actual cash withdrawal amounts apply. It does not name those countries.
RedotPay's rules article (4 December 2025) also says you can set your own single-order limit under Card, then Limit.
Does the RedotPay card have a daily spending limit?
The two RedotPay articles that mention it do not say the same thing. The fee table (24 July 2026) lists a daily limit of 1,000,000 USD and a per-transaction limit of 100,000 USD in both columns. The rules article (4 December 2025) says "there is no daily limit for card consumption", and that each order does not exceed 800,000 HKD for the HKD BIN and 100,000 USD for the USD BIN. For a USD card the per-order figure is the same in both, and neither is near ordinary spending. We cannot say which statement is current for the daily figure, except that the fee table is the later one.
Do I have a USD or HKD RedotPay card?
RedotPay's article on USD and HKD cards (21 July 2026) says the difference is the currency used for billing and settlement, that RedotPay used to offer both depending on region and other eligibility criteria, and that from 21 January 2026 all new cards are issued in USD. To check a card, open the app, tap Card, tap View, and read the currency code in the top-right corner on the back of the card.
The older rules article (4 December 2025) says Hong Kong IP addresses and Hong Kong billing addresses default to HKD cards and everyone else gets USD cards, and that a card's currency cannot be exchanged after purchase. For a card opened after 21 January 2026 the newer article applies, so the USD column of the tables above is the one that matters, and the HKD column is relevant only if you already hold an older HKD card.
What do small charges and declined payments cost?
Two fees in the table catch people who never withdraw cash. The small-transaction fee covers transactions of 1.00 USD or less: the first 5 per card each month are waived and each one after that costs 0.20 USD. The declined-transaction fee waives the first 3 declined payments per card each month and charges 0.50 USD for each one after that. The table says the reasons for a decline include insufficient balance, frozen cards, lost cards and incorrect card details, and that the list is not limited to those. Our reading: if a subscription keeps retrying a payment against an empty balance, each failed attempt after the third in a month would cost 0.50 USD. Our frozen card guide covers what freezes a card.
Does the RedotPay card have monthly or annual fees?
The fee table lists account maintenance, including monthly and annual fees, as waived. The rules article says there is no additional charge if you do not use the card for a month, and adds that rewards usually last 30 days, so a reward can expire while the card sits unused (our guide to the $5 sign-up reward has the details).
How much does shipping a RedotPay physical card cost?
According to the fee table, standard mail is waived and DHL Express varies by country, with the exact fee calculated at checkout from your address. The physical card itself is 100 USD. Production and delivery times, the list of countries RedotPay cannot ship to and the activation steps are in our physical card guide.
What does it cost to replace or renew a RedotPay card?
The fee table lists replacing a virtual card at 5 USD for the first update and 10 USD for each one after. For physical cards the rules article says both card types are valid for 3 years and that RedotPay provides free renewal or replacement 90 days before the expiry date, with postage charged separately. The table lists no fee for replacing a physical card that is lost or damaged, and we have not found one elsewhere.
How many RedotPay cards can I have?
Up to 5 cards, according to the rules article, which also says the minimum age is 18, that upgrading a virtual card to a physical one is not supported (you apply for a new physical card), and that deleting a card is permanent and its fee is not refunded.
What we could not verify
- Which of the two articles is current for the daily limit and the per-order limit, since one says 1,000,000 USD a day and the other says there is no daily limit.
- Which countries get the 3,000 USD daily and 10,000 USD monthly ATM limit on USD cards.
- Whether the 2% ATM fee, the 1.2% other-currency fee and the 1% crypto conversion all apply to one withdrawal. The ATM article lists them as fees that may apply.
- What else counts as a small transaction beyond "1.00 USD or less" (for example card verification charges), and whether the monthly counters follow the calendar month.
- The DHL Express fee for any particular country.
- Whether an ATM operator's own charge is added on top.
- The fee for replacing a lost or damaged physical card.
- What limits apply to older HKD cards beyond the HKD column of the table, and what "Effective from December 1, 2025" covers exactly.
